Eye-Fi was originally known for its WiFi enabled SD card ('Cards') product line which began commercial shipments in 2007. Since its original creation, Eye-Fi continually released upgraded versions of its hardware products, most recently the Eyefi MobiPro WiFi SD cards available in 16GB and 32GB capacities.

Eye-Fi Cards are compatible with virtually all digital cameras manufactured since 2010. Approximately 400 models from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Casio and others also include Eyefi firmware built into their cameras under the Eye-Fi Connected branding. Eyefi Connected cameras are able to control various functions of the Eye-Fi Cards, including the ability to manually turn the WiFi feature on/off.

The core feature of all Eyefi Cards is the ability to automatically detect when a new image file has been captured on a camera.

Eyefi Mobi[edit]

Once a device running the Eyefi Mobi software detects the presence of an Eyefi Mobi Card, any new images captured on the Card are automatically sent to the device running the Eyefi Mobi app. This mode is referred to as 'automatic transfer'. In addition, the Mobi Pro product line provides for a 'selective transfer' mode in which only photos designated by the user are transferred to the Eyefi Mobi app. Identification of which files to transfer is accomplished using an in-camera operation, usually consistent with files designated as 'protected' or 'locked'.

Initial set-up of Eyefi Mobi and Eyefi Mobi Pro Cards is accomplished by installing the Eyefi Mobi app on the user's device. Once installed, the user is directed to insert the Eyefi Card into their camera and to capture a photo or video. When users start the Eyefi Mobi app on their device the first time, they are prompted to enter the 'activation code' for their Eyefi Card. The activation code is provided on a card inside the Eyefi product packaging. Once the user enters the code into the app, the Eyefi Card will begin transferring new files to that device. The set-up operation must be completed for any device to which the user wishes to transfer images from their camera. Once completed, there is no need to repeat the set-up.

Eyefi Mobi Pro products support two major WiFi network types - so called 'direct' and 'infrastructure' wireless networks. A direct network connection is a peer-to-peer transfer between the Card and the device running the Eyefi app. Infrastructure transfer is accomplished when both the Card and the device running the Eyefi Mobi app are within range of the same router based network. In the latter case, the Eyefi Mobi Pro card must be set-up to recognize the SSID and password of the router based network. Configuration of the Eyefi Mobi Pro Card to enable selective transfer as well as set-up for router based transfer is accomplished using the Eyefi Mobi Desktop apps on Mac and Windows PC platforms. Eyefi Mobi Cards only support direct mode, automatic file transfer, so no desktop set-up is required.

The company abruptly announced on June 30, 2016 that, due to security vulnerabilities present in the cards, all previous generation cards (X2 and before) would cease to be supported by the company's proprietary software after 16 September 2016.^[3] Eye-Fi said that some functions not requiring contact with its servers, such as transfer directly to a computer or mobile device and Selective Transfer, might continue to work, although this was not guaranteed. However, to continue using these modes, they had to be configured before 16 September 2016.

Eye-Fi Mobi and Eye-Fi Cloud[edit]

Original image files are retained in Eye-Fi Cloud and photo are then saved in a compressed JPEG file format to save space on synchronized devices. The original files are always available via browser access to Eye-Fi Cloud (app.eyefi.com). Video files transferred to Eye-Fi Cloud are also saved in their original format but are also transcoded into a streaming media format. Once transcoded, videos can be played back on inside Eye-Fi Mobi apps and within a browser via in-app streaming at 480p resolution.^{[citation needed]}

Beyond storage, Eye-Fi Cloud also provides a range of features designed to simplify organization, access and sharing of private image collections. The enhanced features include machine learning based analytics of a photo collection, branded as Smart Tags, search based organization 'Smart Views' as well as more traditional tagging and album creation. Sharing is accomplished via a variety of methods and generally intended for limited private sharing to individuals and small groups.

Eye-Fi Cloud is free for one year following activation for users who purchase an Eye-Fi Mobi Pro version of the products. Eye-Fi Mobi apps are free for perpetual use with any Eye-Fi Mobi branded product. Eye-Fi Cloud for smartphones and cameras with built-in WiFi is available only to users with a 30-day or 1-year subscription. As of October 2015, the monthly subscription for Eye-Fi Cloud was US$4.99 and the annual subscription was $49.99. JavaScript APIs for Word

This poem written in 1627 is a beautifully written tale of Pigwiggen a fairy knight being in love with the fairy queen Titania. I believe this is a great primary source poem because it gives you an idea of the things that came out of Shakespeare’s play from others. It also gives insight into the idea that if children did not obey they would be pinched black and blue. It is a prime example of works that would be circulating during the time and would be read to children to keep them in line. It meshes queen Mab, Titania, Puck and Oberon prior knowledge and creates a new story. In ways it exemplifies the jealousy that Oberon would have felt in A Midsummer Night’s Dream after enchanting Titania’s love to a donkey headed man. She was sweet and caring to him and Oberon would have been very jealous and this poem puts a new spin on that idea. It also shows the idea that people thought of Shakespeare’s characters as the real ones. Most of the works you find use the same names for the king and queen as well as Puck, as Shakespeare did. That’s important because it shows just how much his play impacted society and the future writers of fairy lore. It also exemplifies the world of the fairy as nature. It goes to great lengths to describe the interactions of the fairies with the nature world. This further proves that the forest is the fairy domain and there is something mystical about the forest. This was probably another incentive for children to not enter the woods alone because they may end up there forever.

This poem was dedicated to a close friend of Herrick’s, Snapcot. It was written somewhere between 1591 and 1674. In the beginning phrase he says he dedicates it to him because Snapcot prizes things strange and unfamiliar. This poem is all about describing a feast the king of fairies might have. Herrick draws attention to how strange the lives of the fairies are and how unfamiliar we are with their customs and traditions. This poem very much shows the connection with nature that the fairies have and it shows how excessive the fairies could be. The feast shows an exorbitant amount of food and it reminds of how the fairies lounge around in the woods and don’t work for their meals. The poem mentions wheat as part of the feast. The fairies would have stolen that wheat from a hard working farmer in the village. The fairies did return the favors as lore tells us, but if the wheat or water wasn’t given then they sought retribution and revenge on the poor soul who didn’t give them food. It also shows how at one with nature fairies are. Almost all of the food comes from the animals of the forest. They live in a cohesive world with the forest creatures sharing food, shelter, protection etc. The poem also talks of not getting wine by ravaging the vines but gently pressed instead. They are respectful of nature and would not harm anything in the woods even for their benefit. This poem also shows again how Oberon has become the name of the king since Shakespeare’s writing.

There are a number of steps to getting the driver installed manually, be sure to follow ALL of them before plugging the cable in.
On my 8.1 installation, when I plugged in the TIS cable, Windows automatically looked for and installed the driver, so if you haven’t followed the instructions to that point, it will load the 32 bit driver.

After installing the driver, you need to run the registry hack. Mine downloaded as mvci-x64.reg.txt (might be a Dropbox restriction), simply rename to mvci-x64.reg
After renaming the registry hack file you then need to run the file, which will merge the contents with the registry (will probably get a Windows modification confirmation)

Once the driver was loaded and I verified with the firmware update utility that it was communicating (don’t try to update the firmware), I was ready to install and run Techstream.

Again, follow the directions on installation.
One .ini file needs to be edited to “activate” the program.

Upon loading, you’ll need to select “Europe” and then your preferred language. The key thing is that only the “Europe” option works.
For the user and all other blank mandatory fields, I just typed in “111” and left the default “Albania” Crusader kings 2 cheat engine table.

Next, select VIM type xHorse
Now, you’ll want to set your preferences for units. It defaults to metric, and it also defaults to absolute for the TPMS so at first you’ll be scratching your head at the 46psi tire pressure… set that one to “gauge”

There is no need to launch anything in XP compatibility or anything (at least not on my Windows 8.1 system)

PS. Yesterday, I found some tested TIS on Win10 X64! Then tested this version on my wife’s Corolla using 32 bit Windows 10 just to see if it would work. It did. Also noticed that Win10 put in its own driver for the Techstream cable which seemed to work just fine with the program.
